German Work Permits Surge for Indian Citizens

As per information from Germany's Federal Foreign Office, the nation approved a combined 152,336 national work permits for foreign individuals in the year 2022. This marks a notable surge in comparison to 2021. Statistics reveal that Indians were the recipients of the highest count of employment licenses granted by Germany throughout 2022. A sum of 17,379 work permits was accorded to Indians during the preceding year. Out of this total, a significant chunk of 8,613 work permits was sanctioned through the German Consulate General situated in Bangalore also known as the IT capital of India.
